SKI&CARE GROUP
Detailed information
Course objective
The aim of the course is to develop children's skiing skills and safe behaviour on the slopes so that they can gradually ski more and more challenging runs independently and with confidence, while also allowing them to spend time and socialize in a group with other children. Parents will gain peace of mind knowing that their child is learning to ski under the supervision of qualified instructors in a safe environment, allowing them to enjoy their own program or ski more challenging terrain without worries.
Course content
Group ski courses for children include activities tailored to the children's skiing abilities, with children divided into performance groups. Among other things, children will learn about slope safety and basic skiing skills such as balance, braking and simple turns, progressing to more advanced techniques and movement at higher speeds. Skill development is done in a playful way through fun activities that motivate children, encourage enjoyment of movement and build confidence on skis.
Prerequisites
The minimum age of the participant is 5 years. For safety reasons, group lessons are not suitable for complete beginners; the participant must be able to stop and turn independently. We offer private lessons for complete beginners. To join an already ongoing group (starting on a day other than Monday, missing the performance grouping), it is necessary to complete a private lesson to assess the level.
Location and organization
Courses are offered at the SKI DEMÄNOVÁ and CHOPOK - JASNÁ resorts. Courses run from Monday to Friday, every day from 9:00 to 14:30, with a minimum participation of 3 days. During the introductory lesson on the first day, children will be divided into performance groups. The minimum number of participants in one performance group is 3. To join an already ongoing group (starting on a day other than the first day, missing the performance grouping), it is necessary to complete a private lesson to assess the level and place the child into the correct group.
